This is the full route for cycling around the Lago di Garda. The first part of the route will guide you trough the “mountain” wall. After Gargnano you have to cross trough the first tunnel. As advise use some warning lights. ( front and rear lights). After the first tunnel. You will explore a new world as you pass near the lake. After Limone you will pass a route who’s complete new and hangs above the lake.
Finally you will reach Riva del Garda. From Riva you will heading towards Torbole. Here you can have your first brake at a famous cycling Cafe called Mecki’s. The famous stop of Daniel Oss pro cyclist of Bora Hansgrohe team of Peter Sagan.
After the break; you will cycle towards Malcesine.
Beautiful coastline for cycling. The nature as the great oversight will give you the absolute holiday feeling.
Finally you will pass Bardolino / Lazise and Peschiera del Garda. From there you will move on towards Sirmione. Also a great place to visit.
From Sirmione you will then visit Desenzano. Start place of the yearly event of Colnago Cycling Event. The famous bike manufacturer of the world.
From there you will be heading back to Camping Europa Silvella.
The route is in GPX file. So copy towards you GPS and start your route at the campsite.
Be aware that you will need front and rear lights on your bike. Just for the safety of yourself and the traffic along the way. Best start moment is early in the morning. There’s not a lot of traffic and the temperature is not as hot. Take enough drinks with you and enjoy this great tour.
