Mantua

Mantua, a provincial capital in Lombardy, surrounded by the river Mincio on three sides, was named World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2008 and Italian Capital of Culture by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities in 2016, recalling that in 2019 it will also be the European City of Sport.
